Who Is High Ground Defense?
High Ground Defense was created to provide competitive and advanced technological alternatives to existing and outdated weapon systems for both domestic and international defense forces. With a focus on innovation, HGD translates decades of operational and engineering experience into customer-focused weapon and electrical systems solutions. We specialize in rapid prototyping, development and manufacture of weapon systems and integration solutions into Land, Sea, and Air platforms.
Our size and capabilities enable us to rapidly support organizational and customer needs. As evident in our development timeline of less than four months for design, manufacture, test, and evaluation of legacy M134HG system improvements. The all new “Advantage™” Gatling gun was designed in less than 9 months and is currently in test and evaluation with a plan to begin low-rate initial production (LRIP) in second quarter 2025.

We have a robust network of vendors well versed and qualified in all aspects of manufacturing to include machining, sheet metal, casting, waterjet/laser cutting, Swiss turn, and material sourcing. All our vendors are ISO9001 and/or AS9100 certified or are currently working toward these certifications. Over the last 10 years we have built strong and trusting relationships with our vendor base and are always reaching out to qualify new vendors. We pride ourselves on quality, consistency, and customer service. We accept nothing less than perfect from our team of vendors.
